Boots Dental Scientific Advisor
Ian Marlow has been with Boots since 1987 and is responsible for our scientific guidance, advice and clinical trials as well as professional collaborations. For 5 years he managed a joint research centre with Sheffield University Dental School, which was responsible for developing and testing many of our dental products. All this expertise was put to work heading the team that created our Expert dental range.
Ian’s specialist subject is Oral Care but he applies his expertise to many areas, including performance testing of products for hair, skin, baby and sun. His background in rigorously testing products makes him a perfect candidate to work on the Boots Expert range.
Currently, Ian’s expertise allows him to wear two hats for us. He’s our Scientific Advisor for Oral Care as well as our Evaluation Manager of New Product Introduction and Development.
In these two roles, Ian is responsible for scientific guidance and advice, clinical trials and collaborations with medical bodies. Plus, he evaluates and tests many well-known Boots ranges to ensure we are bringing the best to our customers. In other words – he really knows his subject.
