Getting the most out of your anti-perspirant
Anti-perspirants get to work by entering the opening of the sweat ducts, interacting with sweat and blocking the opening of the sweat duct. Regular applications gradually block more and more sweat ducts, at the same time regular washing will clear some of the blocked pores. In this way it takes one or two weeks for the performance of products to become optimised. It's also best to apply your anti-perspirant when you're cool, before you need it. This gives the product a chance to work rather being 'washed' off as you sweat. Some people find they get a better performance if they apply their anti-perspirant in the evening rather than straight after they have a hot shower in the morning and just before they run for the bus. For optimum performance apply morning and evening.
