Embarrassing facial hair
Posted on 20th March at 11:16 AM Posted by: Crian Wilson
If this is your first tentative step to dealing with what for you is embarrassing facial hair, you are not alone! All women have facial hair it’s just that for some it’s more noticeable than others. Many who consider not to have the problem are probably discretely using the method that they have found best suits them. For first timers I would probably recommend a hair removal cream specially formulated for the sensitive face. The effects last a little longer than bleaching, but not quite so long as waxing. I would not recommend shaving for ladies.

I’m 15 and have really bad dark facial which I use hair removal creams. But recently around my upper lip and down the sides of my lips its been turning more grey. and I look more like a man and that I shave, which is not the case… could it be something with my removal cream (I’ve been using this removal cream for quite a while now) and what should I do because makeup doesnt cover this grey?

I’m tempted to use your facial hair removal cream and I think this site is an excellent idea. However… I’m using bleech on my upper lip at the moment. What is the re-growth like using the hair removal cream. From my experience of hair removal creams on other parts of the body, the hair grows back thicker and darker. Is it the same on your lip? Thanks!

I am 15 and I have quite a lot of facial hair especially on my upper lip. I have to remove my hair on my upper lip quite oftenly as it grows back within 3 days after me removing it. Could you suggest any facial hair removing cream that effictively removes hair semi - permenently ?

I was picked on at college for having long fluffy facial hair, i should never of touched it but because of the nasty comments i became really conscious about it and started removing it via removal creams & i also tried waxing and bleaching it but then it became darker looking and more obvious so i started shaved it off as it was easier and now my face feels awful and im suffering with a total lack of confidence. I no longer know what to do about it im sick of having to remove it all the time. any suggestions?
Hairs on my chinny chin chin!

I’m in my 40’s and although I’ve learned to live with darker hair on my upper lip since I was about 15, I find the new really thick, dark hairs on my chin a nightmare. I pluck them but they just seem to grow thicker and faster. I don’t want to bleach because they are so bristly it would be like kissing a prickly pair for my hubby! Any ideas. Incidentally, for those with more excessive hairs on their body and face, get your Doctor to run a hormone test as they can sometimes be symptomatic of a hormone imbalance.

I have been hairy since I was about 14. Legs get shaved, as dose my tummy, I wax my bikin line and I bleach my face and have to pluck dark hairs on either side of my chin. The only time I seem less hairy is each time I’ve been pregnant(3) lots of hormones, but i wouldn’t recommend that is a beauty treatment haha. My mum suffers with exactly the same hairy problem, she had a good treatment of electrolasis. Hers got worse after the menopause. Mine has got worse as I,ve gottenen older. My thirteen year old daughter has just started to bleach her top lip, so it looks like its inherited!!! sorry all future family females. I recomend waxing if u can stand it if not find what bits work best for you on what bits. You are not alone nore are you a freak in anyway, what you think is really bad may not be that bad to someone else. keep the faith.

I was teasd at college for my facial hair which was mostly on the side of my face and upper lip. in the early days I bleached, but as time went on I started waxing. The hair did grow back but is finer. i recommend having it done professional first then doing it yourself because there is a nac to it!!! The facial waxing strips are brilliant but remember to have your face oil free before you wax. Good luck!!
