Hair Removal Creams

Posted on 22nd June at 06:04 AM Posted by: Crian Wilson

Hair removing creams and spray are designed to weaken/breakdown the hair to such an extent that the hair can be rubbed/washed away. They do have the advantage of also clearing debris from the hair follicle and being able to attack the hair deeper down in the hair follicle than shaving so that the effects can last up to 5 days. The skin surface is made of similar material, this means using depilatories has the added benefit of removing some of the dead skin from the skin surface, leaving it soft and smooth. It is wise to wait 48 hrs between treatments to allow the skin to recover.

hair removal for my 6 year old daughter

Posted on 02nd July at 04:36 PM Posted by: kelash sharma

my 6 year old daughter has been diagnosed with hirsutism. she is of asian origin with no abnormal hormonal problems. the problem is on her back, arm and legs. i visited the skin dept at birmingham hosptl today, where the consultant suggested ‘lazer’ treatment. however we were told that cos the hair is fine and mid brown in color, only 2/3 of the hair will be treated, moreover, there is a one in 10 risk that there could be scaring for at least one year. i have decided to manage the problem which is becomming an issue at school, especially during swimming, and pe.i have thought about hair removal cream. can i use them on her. Please advise.

I’m 26, i’ve been bleaching my upper lip for years when i started noticing the hair was looking thicker i stopped, now i’m waxing but the results don’t last for more than a few days. At the moment i’m waxing my upper lip once a week, could you suggest something that would have longer results? Also i have hair on my chest and my stomach but i’m scared to remove it because of it growing back thicker, the worst is around my belly button which i have removed using creams but it grows back straight away, its longer and thicker than anywhere else which makes me feel very self concious, what is best for that area? Also which products are suitable to use down below? I read everything that is available but nothing is safe or suitable...Please help! Removing hair has turned into a nightmare and is very time consuming. I would really appreciate any advice you can give me. Hope to be hearing from you soon. Thank you.

Im 16 and I’ve been bleaching the hair on my upper lip for a few years now and i recently tried a facial hair removal cream; it lasted for about a week or two but then it grew back. I think it grew back thicker but luckily im still able to bleach it but im still very self conscious about it; the worst is in the sun, it stands out so much! I’m too scared to try anything else in case the hair grows back even thicker and worse! Have you any suggestions and how long does your facial hair removal and finishing cream last for? Does it grow back thicker?

immac hair removal cream

Posted on 16th July at 11:07 AM Posted by: laurel 13

i have been shaving for the last 3 years and it has never been a problem but my mum has now recommended immac removal cream as it will stop the dots appearing on my legs after. I thought i’d give it a go as i was starting to get dots on my legs. I used the ‘sensitive’ removal cream and i found it extremely hard to remove the hair after i had applied it. i waited the recommended time but i had to scrape the dead hairs off my legs which was unpleasant. Also most of my har was left on and i had patches of hair in places. I have dark hair and it is quite thick as i have been shaving in the past but most of the hair was still not removed. Even after all this about an hour after using the cream my legs flare up and i get ugly red blotches and noticable red marks every where and the thing is that they dont even disappear. I used the immac about 1 1/2 weeks ago now and i have scabs on my legs where the blotches have turned into scabs. I am now wondering what to use altogther. The SENSITIVE cream does not work for sensitive skin and i obviously have and it has also damaged my self confidence as the appearance of my legs has been ugly and un attractive. could you please recommened a hair removal for sensitive sensitive legs and for dark thick hair and that it also keeps your legs hair free for a week at least. Thankyou laurel 13
