How does whitening work?

Stain can also penetrate into the upper layers of tooth enamel and will be difficult to remove by the use of whitening toothpaste or mouthwash alone. If you want to do something about this type of stain, then the use of products designed to change the colour of the stain in the enamel is your next step. Whitening kits work by a reaction at the enamel surface that whitens out any stain and changes the transparency of the enamel, so that the enamel reflects more white light and your teeth look whiter. You can use the kits to whiten all your teeth at the same time or a pen/stick to whiten specific teeth or areas of teeth.

expert teeth whitening prog

I am looking into teeth whitening at the moment and unsure of which product to use. If the boots expert range doesn’t contain peroxide does it just remove stains or do users say that it effectively whitens teeth?
