How effective are antiperspirants?

This is a tricky question because their perceived effectiveness is dependent on how much someone would otherwise sweat. In the USA anti-perspirants have to achieve a minimum 20% sweat reduction and 30% sweat reduction if they make extra strength type claims. In reality the quality of anti-perspirants has improved over the years with the high performing products in the UK achieving typically 50-60% sweat reduction. For some this will reduce the amount they normally sweat to negligible for others they may feel they need to seek the advice of their pharmacist of doctor and consider prescription medication.

I would just like to say how great the EXPERT range in Boots is! I first noticed it when I read about the deodorant, I suffer from excessive perspiration and have never found a good deodorant to keep me dry and smelling nice. Well I have now found one thanks to this range, it keeps me dry all day I just cant believe it!

Recently I have purchased the Soothing Lip Protector which has made my lips so soft in only a few days, I also have the cleansing wipes, shaving foam and the best product of all.......Eye make up remover pads! I have tried and tested lots and never been able to find one that removes all my eye make up without stinging and spending time tackling to get it all off! These pads are a miracle, one pad for each eye and all my eye make up is off with little work or discomfort.

i suffer from excessive perspiration and i noticed the ‘Boots expert range’ had an anti perspirant so i thought i would give it a go..

it keeps me dry all day and i now dont have to worry about icky sweat patches!!..
