Is facial waxing OK for everyone?

Posted on 20th April at 01:34 PM Posted by: Crian Wilson

The upper lip is one of the most sensitive parts of the body and some find they react more than others to waxing their lip even if they don’t have sensitive skin. You should always perfect your waxing tecnique on a less sensitive part of the body before attempting facial waxing and then test a small area before waxing the whole lip. It’s definately not a good idea to wax your lip just before going out as the redness that can occur may take a while to subside. Some people don’t know what all the fuss is about and find waxing their lip easy but for others using a good facial hair removal cream is a much better alternative.

waxng top lip

i waxed my daughters top lip at home using veets wax yesterday.  however her skin is gone very sore and is cut in some places.  it looks like when you get a graze and the skin goes sore and brownish.  i would like to know what i can put on the skin to heal the cut skin, and also how long will it take before the lip gets better.  also will she be left with a scar on her lip.  please help me with this, thank you for your help.
