If you are struggling to control an itchy scalp or dandruff sometimes you have to take a step back and consider a different regime. Heavy users of styling products who find they also suffer from itchy scalp may need to consider washing their hair more than once with a dry/itchy scalp shampoo in order to remove build up. People switching to a more frequent hair washing regime may find that they need to switch to using a milder shampoo and alternating with an itchy scalp shampoo.

I OFTEN GET AN ITCHY SCALP BUT DONT REALLY HAVE ANY DANDRUFF. I ALSO HAVE QUITE A LOT OF HAIR FALLOUT WHEN WASHING. SHOULD I USE A MILD DANDRUFF SHAMPOO TO COMBAT THE ITCHING AS WHEN I HAVE USED MY HUSBANDS IT DOES SEEM TO HELP WITH THE ITCHING. MY HAIR IS VERY FINE AND NEEDS WASHING NEARLY EVERY DAY.

My eight year old son has really began to scratch the back of his scalp quite a lot lately. His hair is free from headlice and he uses a mild shampoo occasionally as his hair is short. He only scratches the back of his hair. There is no visible signs of dandruff or flaky skin. Is the expert range safe to use on children’s hair? Thank you
