Permanent Methods Of hair removal

Posted on 25th May at 07:18 AM Posted by: Crian Wilson

Hair follicles are extremely robust and even after undergoing one of the permanent treatments hair follicles can recover and start growing hair again. Electrolysis is where a needle is passed down the hair follicle and a a current of electricity is passed through the hair root to kill it. The hair is then pulled out with tweezers. It’s a slow and tedious procedure as each hair is treated one by one. If not carried out carefully treatment can result in scaring. For this reason home kits have to a greater margin of safety so tend to be less effective than salon treatments. Laser Hair Removal is where a pulse of intense light is targeted on an area of the skin. The light energy is absorbed by dark hair follicles and diffuses safely away in pale skin. For this reason best results occur in those with light skin and dark hair, and on coarse hair rather than fine hair. The light energy as it reaches the follicle turns into heat and damages it. The big advantage over electrolysis is that areas are targeted rather than one hair at a time. Like electrolysis the permanence of the treatment is down to the experience of the operator, the equipment used and the nature of the hair being treated. Intense Pulse Light treatments work in a similar way but the light is generated using filters and a powerful light source rather than a laser.

I found out about your advert on unwanted hairs in SHE Magazine for the month of AUG 2007. I am an african woman currently on holiday in England. My problem is that i do have facial hair especially under my chin and my nipples. Currently for my face i use a tweezer to pluck the hairs off, but this has now given me black marks and some scarring and thicker black hair. Please advice the best possble permanent treatment for me and the cost.

I WAS TOLD THAT WAXING, MAKES YOU HAIR GROW LIGHTER, EVERYTIME YOU WAX IS THAT TRUE?

Another question i would like to ask is that everybody has fine facial hair and i would like to remove mine. but im scared that it might grow back darker. Another problem is that my skin is very sensitive. What would you recommand?

I no that all women have fine hair all over their body and being a teenager makes it worse, cause we start growing hair everywhere, being asian your more likely to see it more, i was wondering what the best mehod would be to remove fine stomach and back hair.

thankyou
