Sensitive skin - don’t wash away your protection
Posted on 13th April at 02:25 PM Posted by: Steve Barton
We’ve been having some great feedback on the sensitive skincare range - thanks from all of us involved. Its good to hear from people who have found something comfortable to use on their skin. In my last week’s blog I talked about the need to protect from the sun. Well it looks like we’ll be having more, and since both Crian and Stewart have commented on the impact of weather on our cleansing habits I thought I’d say something about showering and bathing. There’s nothing like the feeling of clean skin but we all need to remember that frequent or agressove cleansing can contribute to dry sensitive skin and this can also be true for the body. So its worth getting into the habit of an after bathing body lotion session. It only takes a moment and the longer term benefits will be worth it. And since you’ll be more likely to be baring more of your body in the fine weather, the moisturised look and feel of your skin may be something to help motivate you. After all the more maintenance you do to keepo your skin in good condition, the less likely you will need high maintenance in later years.

Whenever I get stressed or embarrassed my whole chest and neck area comes up in bright red blotches. I’m getting married in September and am worried I’m going to walk down the aisle looking like I’m diseased!! Any suggestions anyone?

I Am A Teenager And I Have A Lot Of Skin Allergies, And I Think Your Products Are Really Great ! I Started To Use Them Because My Mum Has Sensitive Skin Too, And She Used Them, But Mine Is Worse. My Face Is Normally All Red Because I Have Had An Allergic Reaction To Something, And Other Things I Have Tried Seem To Make It Worse. I Haven’t Had An Allergic Reaction To Your Products, And I Have Found That Some Even Clear Up The Redness From Previous Products. So Thank-You.
