Sunny weekend ahead

Posted on 13th April at 02:13 PM Posted by: Crian Wilson

Just read the forecast for the weekend - hot and sunny and yes it is sod’s law that this is the time of year that hair starts to grow thicker and faster so you’ll be reaching for those hair removal products. For those of you with fair skin the sun will bleach the hair making it less visible but don’t forget to apply a good sun protection cream of at least SPF 15 and offering 5 star UVA protection particularly if it’s hot enough to sunbathe

Hair removal

Posted on 04th May at 05:18 AM Posted by: Mrs Fillery

I never seem to be lucky at removing unwanted hair when using creams or wax. I prefer to shave because that gets resultsb but I always get a rash. I am careful and make sure the area is clean before shavig and always moisturise after. Any suggestions?

My teenage daughter complains that that whenever she shaves under her arms she can never remove all the visible part of the hair. Can you recommend a product please. She’s also asking about permanent hair removal as she is very anxious about the problem. Please could you advise, or point me to a reliable source of information about permanent hair removal. Thank you

I’ve tried waxing before but it didnt really work because it didnt really pull any hair out. why? Also when I shave my legs after I get a bad rash, how can I calm it down so I dont have this unattractive rash on my legs when I go out, because I wanna wear shorts this summer! lol please write back.

Bikini Line

I love the summer, but I hate the added trauma of hair removal. I get thick hair in between my thighs, and behind the knees, as well as a abundance of hair around the bikini line (and a dark snail trail). I have been shaving these areas since I was a teen, I’m now 23, and although I have been waxing for 2 years I have seen no improvement to the thickness or intensity. I am also plagued with ingrown hairs, which leave my inner thighs looking like a mans chin. I hate hair, I’m never going to be able to afford any advanced hair removal techniques, like laser or electrolysis, and it means wearing tights if I’m wearing shorts, and not participating in pool partys, or taking advantage of the local swimming pool. Excess hair zaps womens cofidence, and I really think that hair removal should be avalible throught the NHS. I spend a small fortune on products, and it would be nice to finally say goodbye to the blighters!

bikini line

i get so confused in what creames are suitable for the more intimate areas. i know that shaving is a big no no (itchyness and ingrown hairs!) waxing is too painful and i never get good results and im too embarressed to go to the professionals.. so my only option is hair removal creames, but even the ones that are for the bikini line, says its not suitable for perinal, vaginal or genital areas… so what can i use to get rid of ALL the hair *ahem down there???

Are there any hypoallergenic lanolin free creams or waxes suitable for using on sensitive skin to remove all the hair down below?

waxing

I love the summer, but I hate the added trauma of hair removal. Regardless of how I wax, or what other method I use, my legs dont stay hair free for more than a couple of days. It grows back so fast, my legs are never smooth. Even when i have just waxed you can see the pores and the roots/bulb? of the hair. Because it is so dark it doesnt even help wearing tights as you can still see them. I cant afford laser surgery but having dark skin Ive been told it probably wouldnt be effective anyway. Is there anything else you can suggest?
